FLORENCE, Ala. – The Director of University Communications on the University of North Alabama campus says a lockdown issued Wednesday morning has been canceled.

The suspected robber has been tracked to a location away from campus.

Earlier this morning, a man who robbed the Subway restaurant on Court Street seemed to be headed towards the UNA Campus, which prompted the lockdown.

Florence Police responded to the area quickly to make a perimeter around the campus. Faculty and students were asked to stay in the buildings while officers located the robber.
