Endangered Child Alert issued in East Tennessee for missing 15-year-old from Ohio

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation as issued an Endangered Child Alert for east Tennessee. The 15-year-old has reportedly been taken by her non-custodial father.

Investigators say Robin Roberts was taken by William Roberts, 40, on Monday from Portage County, Ohio. William is a registered sex offender in Ohio with an offense against a six-year-old female. Investigators also call him a known drug user.

Robin is approximately 5'7" tall and 100 pounds. She has brown eyes and light brown or blode hair. William is described as being 5'11" tall weighing 220 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes.

They are believed to be traveling in a black Ford Ranger with Ohio license plate PJL4802.

William has family in the area of East Tennessee and formerly lived in Greeneville, Tenn.
