State authorities locate missing inmate

DECATUR, Ala. – Update: An inmate who escaped from The Alabama Department of Corrections is in police custody. Ramon Andre Nalls went missing from work release around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officers found Nalls in a wooded area near his job site around 9 a.m. Sunday.

Nalls was serving a 22-year sentence at the Decatur Work Center on a 2008 third-degree burglary conviction in Tuscaloosa County.
