Big Spring Environmental ranks as one of America’s Fastest-Growing Company by Inc. Magazine

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Big Spring Environmental has some major things to brag about. The company was ranked No. 1,243 on its 35th annual 5000 by The Inc. magazine. The Inc. 500/5000 is a list of some of the fastest-growing private companies in the world.  It has become the ultimate indication of entrepreneurial successes.

“We’ve come a long way since 2011,” said Kevin Webber, CEO of Big Spring Environmental. “We started the company with one employee and two trucks. We now have 20 employees and 15 trucks.  We are proud to be able to create jobs in the local communities we serve and, by the nature of our service, to be able to help make those area cleaner, nicer places to live and work.”

Being a company that prides themselves on being a ‘local company’ that is big enough to handle all  of its customers waste management needs. Webber says this is a tremendous honor for the company that they do not take lightly.

Webber also thanks employees for helping make this happen.  Bland Warren, Foster McDonald, Nathan Glass, and Michael McClung, company president helped found the company.

Big Spring Environmental is a local commercial waste management and recycling company that headquarters here in Huntsville.

The 2016 Inc. 5000 represents an aggregate revenue of $200 billion, which in turn created 640,000 jobs over the past three years.

The Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg says, “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them.”
