Tuscumbia Police say officers are heading to northeast Mississippi to talk with the man they believe robbed a credit union on Wednesday.

Investigators say Justin Nathaniel Ratcliff is the man they were looking for. He is in custody in Mississippi on unrelated charges. He has not yet been charged with the credit union robbery.

Officers believe he was on a one-man crime spree.

Justin Nathaniel RatcliffRatcliff was in a car stolen from Missouri, where he has an extensive criminal record. The website where we got his mug shot identifies Ratcliff as a registered sex offender from an incident dating back to April of 1997. It says the offence was “rape with a weapon.”
