Reggie Ragland out for the season; former Crimson Tide star suffers torn ACL

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Reggie Ragland will miss the entire 2016 NFL season in order to undergo surgery after suffering a torn ACL.

The Buffalo Bills made the announcement on Wednesday morning.

The Bills drafted the former Alabama Crimson Tide standout in the second round of this year's NFL Draft.

Ragland injured his left knee during practice on Friday.

Bills head coach Rex Ryan is expected to talk about Ragland's injury during a news conference at 12 p.m.
