Madison Co. Sheriff’s Office, Huntsville Police still looking for man named in stolen vehicle chase

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - As of Thursday morning, the Madison County Sheriff's Office and Huntsville Police Department are still looking for a man they chased yesterday.  Investigators say they have active arrest warrants for Jason Dyer, who is accused of stealing a vehicle.

Lt. Brian Chaffin with the Madison County Sheriff's Office said deputies spotted a stolen vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.  Dyer was driving it, and they tried to stop him, but Dyer reportedly jumped from the vehicle and ran.

Deputies searched for him Wednesday afternoon in the area of Chapman Mountain Estates and High Mountain Estates, off Highway 72 East and Epworth Road.  They also searched two homes on High Mountain Road.
