HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Does your little one love trucks, big or small?  Well, have we got an event for you!

Kids of all ages are invited to the Touch-A-Truck event on August 13, where they can turn imagination into real-life with a chance to climb into fire engines, police cars, mobile communication trailers, ambulances, and more!

This is a great opportunity to let the kiddos get used to local emergency vehicles so that they aren't frightened if they are ever in an emergency.

WHNT News 19 is participating in the Touch-A-Truck event by sending two of our live shot vehicles, Great White and Storm Hunter 19.

Other activities include a children's book walk, face painting, live action demos.

Lowe's will be hosting a Build and Grow workshop where the kids can build wooden trucks.

Maggie Moo's, Route 66 Diner,  Donato's Pizza, and Tim's Cajun Kitchen will be onsite from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. serving up delicious treats from the belly of a big Food Truck.
