FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. –  The Fayetteville Police Department is thanking a young man for his generosity this week.

Jonathon Capley worked hard this summer cutting grass and doing other odd jobs to earn money and he used those funds to do something special. When the First Annual Nationwide “Back the Blue” event was announced this week, Jonathon knew just the reason to break open the piggy-bank.

Drinks and snacks were purchased with his donation and donations made by the Fayetteville Sonic Drive-In and Los Trojas.

Jonathon’s mother, Carly Capley, says that none of this would have been possible without the help of the owners of T&L Roofing, who allowed him free use of their equipment to get the jobs done.

Officers from the Fayetteville Police paid Jonathon a visit last night to thank him and collect the donation.
