Extreme Drought Expands

Hard to believe that even more of the Tennessee Valley is under an *extreme drought*. Though parts of the Tennessee Valley including sections of Madison and Morgan Counties saw over three inches of rain last week, the *extreme drought* expands.

North of Huntsville including Hazel Green east to New Market are in an *extreme drought.* Most of Jackson County and northern DeKalbĀ is as well.

Scattered showers and storms are likely this weekend, but it won’t be enough to put a dent in our very dry pattern.
