DECATUR, Ala. – Morgan County District Attorney Scott Anderson announced the indictment of Jovan Deante Anderson and Gary Lorenzo Hill Jr., both of Huntsville.

They are both charged with capital murder after Brandon Terrell Harris was found shot to death in a car behind his house on Wadsworth Street SE in November.

The two turned themselves into Decatur Police days after the fatal shooting.

Authorities say Harris had been shot multiple times.

The men were charged with capital murder because it involved shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Court documents state Harris sold fake marijuana to Hill and Anderson. A witness told investigators the two suspects went to Harris’ residence after they discovered the drugs were fake.

Jovan Anderson is in Morgan County Jail with bail set at $150,000. Hill is in Morgan County Jail without bail.
