Patterson Lane house fire 7/3/16

MERIDIANVILLE , Ala. – Fire crews from Meridianville, Hazel Green, Toney and Bobo Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the scene of a house fire at 982  Patterson Lane  near Mt. Lebanon.

The road was closed all the way to 982 Patterson Lane.   Authorities said no one was in the home at the time and no  injuries have been reported.

“We’ve seen most of the damage appeared to be the kitchen area and the garage.” said Jerimy Stewart of the Hazel Green VFD.  “It’s where we presume the fire started this afternoon. Other than that, we’re just making sure nothing went through the rest of the house.”

Officials say that the fire displaced one person from the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
