TOKYO (AP) — Toyota is recalling 1.43 million vehicles globally for defective air bags.

This latest recall is not part of the massive recalls of Takata air bags.

Toyota says it’s not aware of any fatalities or injuries related to the new recall.

It affects the Prius hybrid, Prius plug-in and the Lexus CT200h manufactured between October 2008 and April 2012.

Toyota says there’s a small crack in some air bag inflators. The air bags were not made by Takata.
