Decatur’s Tanner Burns Flips Commitment from Alabama to Auburn

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Al.com)- It didn't take Tanner Burns long to find a new home.

The Decatur High 2017 right-handed pitcher/shortstop tweeted tonight that he has flipped his commitment from Alabama to Auburn.

Burns, who committed to the Tide as a sophomore in 2014, told the Decatur Daily today that he had re-opened his recruitment following Mitch Gaspard's resignation May 30. Burns' announcement came on the same day that Alabama announced Greg Goff as its new coach.
