Twilight Remembrance to be held for victims of Orlando nightclub shooting

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Free2Be Anti-Violence Project will be hosting a twilight remembrance for the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando.

The event will be held tonight at 8 p.m. at Pinhook Provisions at 2409 Bob Wallace Ave.

The public is invited to attend. Following the twilight remembrance, the previously scheduled outdoor screening of ‘Priscilla Queen of the Desert’ will commence.

The movie screening begins the week long celebration of Rocket City Pride, which commemorated the Stonewall Riots generally credited as the beginning of the LGBT rights movement.
