Denver Broncos Safety Darian Stewart Honored in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)- With the conclusion of OTAs in Denver on Thursday, Broncos safety Darian Stewart returned home to the Tennessee Valley. The Huntsville-Madison County Athletic Hall of Fame's Board of Directors hosted a reception to honor Stewart on Friday. The Lee High grad is also hosting his third annual Stewart's Standouts Football Camp on Saturday.
Stewart is the starting safety for the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos. He starred for the Broncos in both the AFC championship game and in Denver's win over the Carolina Panthers in this year's 50th Super Bowl. In the Super Bowl, he had three tackles, a sack, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
