MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. - Just before midnight, there was a wreck on Interstate 65 at the 325 mile marker.

That wreck closed down the northbound lanes for more than six hours overnight.

According to officers on the scene, an 18 wheeler and car collided in the northbound lanes, sending the car off the shoulder and into the tree line.  The 18 wheeler hit about 30 yards of guard rail before flipping on its side and catching on fire.

Police say two people from the car and trucker were taken to a local hospital.

We are told the truck was carrying limestone rock.
