Former Auburn Receiver Signs With LA Rams

AUBURN, Ala. (al.com) - The Los Angeles Rams have signed former Auburn wide receiver Duke Williams after he attended the NFL team's rookie minicamp as a tryout player, theLos Angeles Daily News and Orange County Register reported on Tuesday night.

Williams caught 45 passes for 730 yards and five touchdowns for Auburn in 2014 and was considered one of the top wide receivers in the 2016 NFL Draft class heading into last season.

But Williams played in only five games and caught 12 passes for the Tigers in 2015 before being dismissed from the team on Oct. 5.
