Luther Tiggs Named Bob Jones Boys Basketball Head Coach

MADISON, Ala. ( - Luther Tiggs is returning to the court.

Bob Jones announced this morning that Tiggs, currently the school's athletic director and an assistant principal, will be the new boys basketball coach. The hire was approved during a Madison City Schools Board of Education meeting Thursday night.

“I appreciate the opportunity to lead this program,” Tiggs said in a press release. “Madison City Schools has a reputation of preparing students academically and athletically to compete in a global 21st century society. We will implement a team-first approach and a unique style of play that highlights concentration, focus and self-discipline.”
