PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Police have released the names of the five people who were tragically killed after the helicopter they were in crashed in Sevier County, Tenn.

The pilot was 38-year-old Jason Dahl.

Johna Morvant, 49, and her two children, Peyton Rasmussen, 22, and Parker Rasmussen, 18, were also on board along with Michael Mastalez, 21.

WVLT reported the Rasmussens were visiting their mother when they decided to take a helicopter tour of the area.

All five were killed Monday when the helicopter went down around 3:30 p.m.

There’s no word yet on what caused the crash. A preliminary report is expected to be released next week.
