HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A fire forced guests from rooms overnight at the InTown Suites in Huntsville.

Fire and rescue crews responded to the hotel on The Boardwalk around 1:30 a.m.

Fire crews say there was a fire in a room on the second floor. The sprinkler head in that room extinguished the fire. However, five rooms sustained water damage from sprinklers.  At least one person was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor burns.

The fire has been ruled as accidental. An electrical inspector was called in to check for damage in the rooms.

Guests were allowed back in hotel rooms within an hour.
