People wearing #lotsofsocks for World Down Syndrome Day

March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) and Down Syndrome International invites people across the world to wear LOTS OF SOCKS.

Not just any socks, crazy wild socks! Odd socks, brightly colored socks, whatever you feel like putting on your feet.  The point is to wear something people will ask you about, so you can explain it’s for WDSD.

It’s a hashtag, too. Many people are posting photos of their wild socks with #lotsofsocks – check out some Tweets we found:
