Reveille and Retreat to begin ringing through Redstone Arsenal on March 14

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - Starting Monday, March 14 you'll notice some familiar tunes coming from Redstone Arsenal's speakers as a timeless tradition makes its way back to the base.

Next week, Reveille will play at 6:30 a.m. and Retreat will end the work day at 5:00 p.m.

"We want to remind everybody on the Arsenal that work here, why we're truly here. We're here to support the service men and women that are out there in harm's way and have made the ultimate sacrifice," said Sergeant Major Kim Bradshaw.

Redstone officials said the gate operations and the traffic will continue as normal.

"We're not going to stop cars," Sergeant Bradshaw said. "It's really about maintaining accessibility on the installation so that we're not inhibiting folks' ability to get to work on time and back up the traffic also that could cause undo safety concerns."
