Police identify woman killed while trying to cross Pulaski Pike

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Madison County Coroner confirmed that a pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle on Pulaski Pike Tuesday afternoon.

Gaynell Beasley, 50, died at the hospital after being struck by a vehicle.

It happened around noon Tuesday. The wreck happened near the intersection of Pulaski Pike and Boundary Avenue, which is near the shopping center with Costco, Staples and Home Depot.

Officers say Beasley was trying to cross Pulaski Pike.

The accident is still under investigation, but no charges have been filed against the driver, police said.
