Coroner: Madison man drowns in neighbor’s pool

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) — Police are investigating a drowning Madison.

Madison County Deputy Coroner Tyler Berryhill tells WHNT News 19 it happened on Sarah Hughes Drive in Madison.

The man, 68, was found just after 1 p.m. Monday. His name is not being released at this time.

Berryhill said the man did not live at the home where he was found. He lived next door and was swimming in his neighbor’s pool. Berryhill determined the cause of death was accidental drowning.
