LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A pedestrian was killed Friday after being hit by a vehicle on I-65.  Alabama State Troopers identified him as 87-year-old Thomas Glenn Collier of Athens.

Troopers say the crash occurred Friday around 10:25 p.m., two miles north of Athens.  Authorities pronounced Collier dead at the scene.

Alabama State Troopers are continuing the investigation.
