TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (al.com) - Retin Obasohan had been quiet.
With less than six minutes left in the second half of a close game, Alabama's standout senior guard had just seven points and was only 2 of 7 from the field.
But the Tide pulled away for a critical 65-57 win over Auburn during those final six minutes after trailing by as much as 10 in the second half.
Obasohan led the way, scoring nine points during the final 5:46 as Alabama outscored the Tigers, 17-8, down the stretch to win and improve to 17-8 overall and 8-8 in the SEC.
