Heritage Elementary Sixth Grade Kidcam!

I always love my annual trip to Heritage Elementary in Madison!  Mrs. Beth Clemmons and her colleagues let me come spend some time with the Sixth Grade every year, and I am always impressed with this group.  They ask thought-provoking questions, play along when it’s time to have fun and listen intently when it’s time to get serious.

There are some very intelligent students in this crew, and it will be fun to watch them grow and succeed over the next few years.

They’re smart and very thoughtful, too.  The students collected some money to donate to Team Brody as we try to raise funds and awareness for the Pediatric Heart Center of Alabama at Children’s of Alabama.  A very outgoing young lady – Diane – presented me with the envelope full of donated dollars.  Thank you, Heritage Sixth Grade, for making my day.  This was really a special outing for me!
