
NORMAL, Ala. (aamusports.com) - A late second-half push came up short for Alabama A&M Saturday night in a 74-68 loss to Alabama State.
The Bulldogs led 33-31 at the half on the strength of Nicholas West's 12 points and 11 points from Quinterian McConico.
A&M built up a 45-39 lead on a layup by West with 15:43 left in the game before the Hornets began their comeback.
