HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – If you’re panicking a little bit realizing you haven’t made any Valentine’s Day plans yet – don’t.

One of the best easy-to-pull-off, last-minute Valentine’s Day options is a nice dinner. The trick, of course, is finding a place that’s not all booked up with reservations.

The NoWait app may be able to help. Here’s how it works: A quick search pulls up local restaurants near you without a wait for a table. You can use it for any time of day, so if you’re thinking your sweetie would enjoy a Sunday brunch, that works too.

One you find a place you like, you can use the app to “get in line” and get a text when your table is almost ready.

There’s also a profile for all the “frequent” last-minute tablet hunters. Fill it out and you can track just how much time you save not waiting awkwardly in entryways over the long run.
