HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Donald Trump and Marco Rubio may be visiting Rocket City before the end of the month.  Bob Baccus, a local Trump delegate, says the GOP frontrunner has plans to visit Huntsville the last week before the Super Tuesday primary on March 1st.

"Trump campaign down in Montgomery has heard from the Trump hierarchy and he wants to come to Alabama and he's trying to work out a date now," says Baccus. "They're not sure but they think it will be the last week of February."

Sam Givhan, the Madison County Republican Chairman, confirms Trump's plans and added another name that has shared plans to visit North Alabama. "I've also heard that Marco Rubio will be here the last weekend in February."

With all the interest in Campaign 2016, the Madison County GOP Headquarters is adding extra staffing. "Normally we do not hold office hours if you will for our Headquarters until shortly before the General election.... this year, because of the enthusiasm, beginning Monday, we will hold regular office hours here," says Givhan.

Their office is located on the second level, in Suite 201, at 806 Governors Drive in Huntsville. Their office will be open Monday through Friday from 10 am to  3 pm.
