Buying and displaying art can be an overwhelming process. So why not take a Saturday to look through five local art enthusiasts homes and get some inspiration for yourself? In the inaugural Art Tour of Homes, hosted by Arts Huntsville, tour goers will visit homes from Jones Valley to Five Points. Each home will offer up its own collections and style for you to enjoy. By showcasing how art is part of living spaces, Arts Huntsville hopes to create a greater understanding of how anyone at any price point can use art to enhance their environments.

The Art Tour of Homes will feature:

  • The Five Points home of Sue and Steve Johnson (1005 Wells Avenue)
  • The Twickenham home of Cheryl and Ken Hovanes (414 Eustis Avenue)
  • The Medical District home of Cindy Hallman (120 Bibb Road)
  • The Monte Sano home of Peggy and Jim Bilbro (4017 Panorama Drive)
  • The Jones Valley home of Lara Isbell and Kent Chojnacki ( 1237 Deborah Drive)

Tour attendees will also be provided with a list of local resources for starting or growing their art collections.

The Art Tour of Homes will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the homes on the day of the event. You can start the tour at any of the five homes. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Arts Huntsville offices at 700 Monroe St, Suite 2 by cash or check.
