That announcement came Monday from the Rock the South Facebook Page.

The festival is scheduled for June 3-4, 2016 at Heritage Park in Cullman.

This morning’s announcement also included an option for specially-priced tickets. For one day only, you can purchase tickets for the weekend for $59. Those “Super Fan” tickets are available February 4, 2016.

Rock the South was started as a way to raise money for the recovery efforts after the April 27, 2011 tornadoes that left much of the state damaged.

“Originally intended to be a one-year celebration of recovery from that horrific day, Rock the South has continued to expand to become a massive celebration of this area and what it has to offer. Since the first Rock the South in 2012, Rock the South has continued to be an important community partner giving back over $200,000 to local charities including The Link, Alabama Forever, Children’s Hospital of Alabama and many more.”

The next musical act will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 7:15. Bookmark this story, as we will continue to update it with the latest information from Rock the South.
