ORANGE COUNTY, California (CNN) – Police in Orange County are looking for three inmates who escaped from a California jail.

Officials say Jonathan Tieu, 20, Hossein Nayeri, 37, and Bac Tien Duong, 43, escaped from the Orange County Men’s Jail on Friday.

Tieu is accused of murder, Nayeri of torture and kidnapping while Duong faces charges of attempted murder.

The Sheriff’s Office says the escapees got to the roof by cutting through steel bars and plumbing tunnels.

Authorities say the inmates then used sheets to rappel down to the ground before running.

The Sheriff’s Office claims all of their resources are being used to locate the inmates.
