FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam traveled to Motlow College in Fayetteville for a big economic announcement this morning. Toledo Molding & Die is building a new facility.

The company plans to invest $20 million in a new 126,000 square-foot facility.

The new building will be located in Fayetteville-Lincoln County Industrial Park.

The global company could have chosen anywhere to expand but they chose┬áLincoln County. Company President Stephen Ciucci says partly because of the county’s location.

“Equally important though is the great community and great workforce that is here. We can really bond with the community, make a difference in the community, have a long-term relationship with the community. So this is the ideal location for us,” said Ciucci.

The decision is something Governor Haslam says he’s proud of.

“Everybody knows jobs around the country tend to flock to urban areas but with Commissioner Boyd’s leadership we’re working hard to change that,” said Haslam.

The company expects to begin hiring in late summer, we will let you know as soon as the hiring announcements are made.
