JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Jackson County rescue crews freed a girl trapped in a cave in the Dolberry Hollow area around 2 am Sunday morning.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the girl was part of a larger group who went exploring Saturday afternoon. The girl was not able to walk because a large rock had fallen on her leg. Rescue teams needed to use four-wheelers and specialized equipment to pull her to safety.
