DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – Decatur police are investigating a shooting this Saturday morning. Police were called to the 1800 block of Tower Street around 2 a.m.
When police arrived they found Reginald Jones with a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Investigators say that Jones and several men were playing cards Friday night when a fight broke out and a shot was fired.
Police have not yet released any information about the shooter or any future arrests.
