Florence Police search for electronics thief; Colbert County deputies have warrants to serve

FLORENCE, Ala. - What do an unidentified shoplifter and some dead beat parents who owe their kids money have in common?  They are all wanted by law enforcement across northwest Alabama.

These surveillance pictures are not the best in the world, but you may recognize the man in them. He’s wanted by Florence Police.

Investigators said he walked into Walmart on Hough Road with no intention of buying anything. Instead, he pocketed what he wanted and walked right back out.

Florence Police say he took a cell phone and other electronics. They hope you know who is.

 

The Colbert County Sheriff’s Department has arrest warrants for three people who haven’t paid their child support.

Thirty four-year-old Nikia Fuqua not only has warrants for unpaid child support, but Russellville Police would like to serve some traffic warrants on him when he’s found.

Vernon Bates, 32, has arrest warrants for failing to pay child support in Colbert County.

Sheffield Police also have arrest warrants for Bates on drug charges.

And for good measure, Florence Police have warrants for traffic violations.

Lena Bridgette Parker has warrants for her arrest for unpaid child support in Colbert County.

Authorities say she may be in the Union Grove area of Marshall County.
