LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Crews have extinguished a fire that engulfed a FedEx truck on the side of Interstate 65 in Limestone County.

The fire happened on the southbound side of the interstate near the Tennessee Welcome Center.

Alabama State Troopers say the driver reported pulling over after the truck lost power.  The driver says that’s when the truck caught fire.

There are no reports of any injuries.  Authorities say the truck was empty, so there will be no impact on Christmas package deliveries.
