Late night fire displaces two adults, one child

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Two adults and one child have been displaced from their home after a late night house fire.

Four Huntsville fire units responded to the scene of a fire on the 2500 block of Norman Terrace shortly before 11 Sunday night.

Firefighters were quick to get in the home and get the fire under control.

Officials said kitchen sustained heavy fire damage.

The rest of the home sustained smoke damage.

However, firefighters said they were able to save the Christmas presents.

The two adults and one child are staying with family members for the time being.
