Narcotics agents seize heroin, make arrest at Huntsville convenience store

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Narcotics agents with the State Bureau of Investigations executed a drug bust at a convenience store on Washington St. Friday afternoon.

Isaac Wadsworth, 57, of Huntsville was arrested on felony drug charges, according to ALEA.

The search warrant served at A&T Foods located at 110 Washington Street in Huntsville, where heroin and drug paraphernalia was confiscated by agents. Wadsworth was arrested and booked at the Madison County Jail for possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

“SBI narcotics agents work closely with our federal and local partners to halt the manufacture and distribution of illegal drugs in Alabama,” said Secretary of Law Enforcement Spencer Collier.

The Madison-Morgan County STAC assisted with the warrant.
