Train hits car in Limestone County, no one injured

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. – Authorities in Limestone County tell us a woman had a close call with a train in the Elkmont area this morning.

She was driving on Roberts Road around 4:00 a.m. Emergency crews say she tried to turn around, but her vehicle got stuck. She got out of the car and that’s when a train drove by clipping the front bumper of her car.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident.
