HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)- One of the few things Alabama and Auburn football fans can agree on is the Iron Bowl is one of the most important games to win all year- and as always, die hard fans on both sides were hoping for a win.

Auburn fan Tammy Guthrie,  says she'd love to see Auburn win.

"Oh I would be one happy War Eagle fan! I would have to go to work and rub it in my boss' face!"

Alabama Fan Angie Cook, knew Alabama would win, but she figured it would be a good game.

"I don't think it's going to be a blowout, but I don't think it's going to be close either. I think Alabama is going to run away with it, especially in the last quarter."

While the Crimson Tide fans walked away from Auburn with the win- many fans anticipated a relatively low scoring game.

"The score I'm going to say... 28-21," says Guthrie.

"I'm going to say, I don't think it'll be a high scoring game, maybe 28 to I'll give them two touchdowns, 28-14," added Cook.

Going into halftime, the only points on the board were field goal points, and Alabama's Adam Griffith created another unforgettable Iron Bowl by making five for five field goal attempts.

Heisman Trophy candidate Derrick Henry produced his fourth 200-yard game of the season, just as fans expected.

"But with Derrick Henry the way he's playing, and our quarterback he's doing great I mean our team has been awesome all year,"says Cook.

While Alabama was the favorite going into the game, points scored in the 4th quarter display a scoring margin not necessarily reflected throughout the rest of the game .
