TENNESSEE (WHNT) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirms Philip Izaah Whitten has been found safe. An Endangered Child Alert was issued for the 7-year-old Tuesday night.
The TBI reports the boy’s father is in custody.
Authorities had reported Whitten was taken by his non–custodial father Philip Eugene Roberts from a residence in Winchester, Tennessee at about noon on Tuesday.
Police say Roberts has a violent criminal history and is wanted by the Winchester Police Department for custodial interference.
