Heavy rain, gusty winds to impact the morning commute Wednesday

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)– A band of strong storms with heavy rain and gusty wind will enter far northwest Alabama around 4 a.m. Wednesday. The leading edge of the heaviest rain will be near Huntsville, Decatur and Madison around 8 a.m. Storms will be crossing Jackson, DeKalb and Marshall Counties between 10 a.m. and Noon Wednesday.

A wind advisory is also in effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday.
