HUNTSVILLE, AL-To promote the national “It’s on Us” Week of Action, UAH Student Government Association’s “Stand Up, Speak Out” event will be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Charger Union Theater.

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) President and SGA President will be speaking on issues surrounding sexual assault on college campuses; highlighting topics such as consent, bystander intervention, identifying high-risk individuals, dating violence, victim support resources and university policies and procedures.

Since this conversation is completely student-lead, it will offer a different, more relatable view of sexual assault and how students can play an active role in preventing it.
Food and t-shirts will be provided to students, faculty, staff and community members in attendance.
