Etowah County Sheriff says missing 4-year-old taken by mother has been found

ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. – Shortly after releasing an alert about a missing child, The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office says she and her mother have been found.

Yahira Reyes Lopez, 4 years old, who was taken by her non-custodial mother, was not seen since Friday, November 6. She was located by authorities Monday afternoon.

Sheriff Todd Entrekin says the child was taken from her father’s home located in the Duck Springs community.

Yahira is a Hispanic female, 3 feet 5 inches tall.  She weighs approximately 40 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a white shirt. Yahira has a birth mark on her forehead.

The mother, Constantina Reyes Lopez, is 28 and a Hispanic female.  She is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.  They are believed to be headed to the Mobile area in a 2001, white Chevrolet Impala with license plate number 717ANJ.
