HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Of all the accolades our city has collected, you have to bet the mayor's office is a bit puzzled by this one.  Hey, we'll take it though!

According to new findings by FindTheHome, Huntsville ranks among the Top 10 cities where you'd best survive a zombie apocalypse.  FindTheHome is a residential real estate search engine, usually helping people find the latest information on homes, schools, neighborhoods and commutes to and from work.

We guess fighting off zombies is a new category potential homebuyers might want to search. FindTheHome judged the zombie-readiness of each city using a combination of three factors: resources, defense, and demographics. "The higher the overall score, the better equipped the region is to survive," the website said.
