Lions Can’t Keep up With West Georgia

CARROLLTON, Ga. (roarlions.com) - Second ranked West Georgia scored on six of its first seven offensive possessions and went on to post a 31-10 win over 13thranked North Alabama at University Stadium.

With the loss, North Alabama falls to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the Gulf South Conference. West Georgia is now 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the GSC. It was just West Georgia's second win over the Lions in the last 11 meetings in the series.

West Georgia finished the game with 485 yards of total offense as the Wolves rushed for 383 and passed for 107. North Alabama's offense struggled, converting on just four of 14 third down attempts. UNA gained 318 total yards with 139 rushing and 179 passing.
