HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Fire says  four units responded to the scene of a house fire on Regency Way, which is down South Parkway.

We now know that the people who lived in the residence were not home at the time of the fire.

Firefighters say that neighbors made the call when they saw smoke coming from the residence.

Unfortunately the two adults that were living in the home were displaced. The Red Cross has been called in to help them.

Firefighters say the homeowners had a dog and a cat. The dog made it out, but they have not found the cat yet.
